Our dedicated, well-trained staff works hard each day for our students. We believe in research based strategies and best practices in instruction. We also believe in making our students accountable for their actions by emphasizing life skills and having natural and logical consequences for student behavior.  We do this through the implementation of PBiS, Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports.  As part of PBiS, we have 3 schoolwide expectations:  Be Respectful, Be Responsible, and Be Safe.  Each day begins with a fresh start and each day brings the promise of positive recognition through our Student Success Club.

At Valley Horizon, parental and community involvement is a key asset to our continued success. We are proud of our active PTO and enjoy having parents visit and volunteer in our classrooms.
