Welcome to Mesquite School, proud home of the Stingers!  Thank you for visiting our webpage.  Please feel free to look around for more information about our school.

Mesquite is home to over 560 energetic, enthusiastic and excelling students, enrolled in kindergarten through sixth grades.  We feel our students are just as strong as the tree for which our school was named.  Both the tree and our students have deep roots in our community, thrive during hard times, and find and use resources available to them.

We take pride in the fact that each and every staff member is committed to helping all students succeed in subjects including Reading, Writing, Math, Social Studies and Science.  Everyday we strive to expand the knowledge of each student, thus expanding the world in which they live.  With this goal in mind, teachers work collaboratively with their grade level teams to ensure that each child is progressing in an appropriate manner.  We take our responsibility as educators very seriously!

Our school welcomes parent involvement and input!  Here at Mesquite, we have an active PTA.  We encourage parents to become involved in their student’s educational development.  We also believe that educating children takes a strong team effort between teacher, student, parent and principal.  Come join our active PTA and become a part of the Mesquite team.

The doors of our school are always open to visitors.  We look forward to seeing you and encourage you to come and see the progress each of our students is making each and every day!  Feel free to take a tour of our school and we will answer any questions that you may have.  Please feel free to call our office at (928) 373-4100.  We look forward to seeing you!

Sincerely,

Kristine Reed, Ed. D.
